Our community is located in the heart of the White River National Wildlife Refuge 

The Dale Bumpers National Wildlife Refuge headquarters is located in St Charles

During duck season you will find our small town to be "home" to many out of state hunters who come here to hunt year after year. Not only do we have some of the best refuge grounds around, we also have many hunting guides who offer hunts in flooded timber and fields. Many of these guides also offer club houses that you can rent for a weekend to weeks on end.

The White River runs along the side of town with a boat ramp located within city limits. 

During the summer time you will find people enjoying the sandbars located just upstream from St. Charles on the White River.
